Ice Cube

Ice Cube was born as O`Shea Jackson in Los Angeles. Ice Cube and Sir Jinx formed the group CIA. Ice Cube offered the song "Boyz-n-the-Hood" to Eazy-E's group, HBO. Cube, Dr Dre and Ice Cube formed NWA. The groups album 1n 1988 called "Straight Outta Compton became a hit. The music attracted attention from the F.B.I. Ice Cube left the group in 1989 after a disagreement with the group's management.

Ice Cube's made a new group called, Da Lench Mob. Ice Cubes debut solo album in 1990 was calles AmeriKKKa's Most wanted. it was criticised for hatred of women and for being anti-gay. In 1990 Cube acted in the film "Boyz N the Hood" directed by John Singleton. It was Oscar nominated. Ice Cube put a woman in charge of his company and produced an album for female rapper Yo-Yo. There was more criticism of Ice Cube's next album in 1991 called "Death Certificate". The track "No Vaseline" was said to be anti-Semitic."Black Korea" called for the burning of Korean-owned grocery stores. Cube dissed Dr Dre, MC Ren and Eazy-E in the song "No vaseline" Ice Cubes next album in 1992 debuted at #1 with the hit single "It was a good day". Ice Cube converted to the Nation of Islam.

Ice Cube then sang and produced Da Lench Mob's 1994 debut, Guerillas in the Mist. In 1995 Ice Cube resumed acting with a John Singleton film "Higher Learning" and in 1996 with the film he wrote and acted in called "Friday". Ice Cube got back together with Dr Dre in 1996 with the song "Natural Born Killaz". In 1996 Ice Cube, WC and Mack 10 formed Westside Connection and released the album Bow Down. 1n 1998 Ice Cube released War and peace Vol 1, war disc. The peace disc was released in early 2000. It contained the song Hello with MC Ren and Dr Dre, and Until we Rich with Krayzie Bone. Ice Cube also appeared in the Film Three Kings with Mark Wahlberg and George Clooney. And Next Friday.
